please help

by akcarmean Premium Member

I need to find an online school that can help me get my RN. I have my LPN. Starting in Jan. I will be working towards my BSN in Nursing. Then will still have to get my RN. Does anyone know of a
program where I can get my RN. IL. is just now starting to pass a law that will except online learning towards your nursing degree. I figured that after I get my BSN. that the law will have pasted. Anywhoo!! Who knows of an online place where I can get my clinical training at?

Help is greatly appreciated,
Angelia

I don't believe you can become an RN through on line studies. You have to do Clinicals and other stuff you can't do on line. You can Do your BSN on line, but only if your already an RN.

I know that IL does not accept Excelsior because the clinical and theory aren't concurrent. Have you looked at ISU's program? Most of it is online I believe. You might also consider Wesleyan and Mennonite. In our ER we don't have LPNs but I seem to remember someone talking about a friend who was in your same position. Good luck...judi

I think University of Maryland allows it. I know almost al their classes were available online.

Good luck.
