Is One year on Med/Surg enough experience before seaching for a New JOb

As a new nurse, I needed to be exposed to many different medical/hospital situation. So I decided that Med/Surg floor would be the floor to work on. I have just met the 1 year mark and I am excited about what other opportunities are out there. Also, the stress involved with working on a med/surg floor is not my cup of tea. I am looking for suggestions on my next step.
