Nursing School Interview Thank You Letter?

Hi everyone I am new to this website and looking for student advice. I just interviewed for a nursing school and was wondering if I should send the interviewer an email thanking her? How does this sound?? Any advice would appreciated!!

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to interview for admission into the 2+2 nursing program. It was very nice to meet you and I enjoyed learning more about what this program entails. Having attended a community college I have had to take many unnecessary classes to move up on the priority registration list to be able to obtain the required prerequisites. I look forward to finally being able to focus my education and hard work on the specific coursework that will allow me to reach my career goals. I feel confident that my personal life, workforce, and educational experiences have prepared me for this program. I am ready for the challenges that this demanding program has to offer. I look forward to hearing from you, and regardless the outcome of my application it was an honor to be considered for this program. Thank you again!
