Nursing Assistant Certification

Hi! I graduated in Asia with a degree of BSN-RN. Can somebody give me an idea how to get a nursing assistant certification? I'm planning to take NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN but I am afraid to take those test because I been out of the field for 6 years now. I want to be a CNA first, so that I can work and be familiar to the hospital setting here. I applied to work in a nursing home and hospital as a nursing assistant but nobody wants to hire me in spite of my education 'coz I don't have a certification. Can someone help me please? By the way, I’m from Alabama. THANKS!
