Hi all,

I recently get an invitation for an OR nurse position interview. The nurse manager called me on Tuesday asked me to come in on Thursday 8am. She said call her back if I didn't receive her email at the end of the day. And I did and left a message.

Today I called her again and left a message and to confirm an interview. No response yet.

My question is should I go for an interview at all or what I should do?

Thank you for all help.

I would go ... but I would continue to try to get in touch with her. I would try calling the Nurse Recruiter and telling her of your situation. Another thing I would consider is to try getting in touch with the Nurse Manager's secretary or the Assistant Nurse Manager, if there is one.

Do you have a copy of your "invitation?" If so, I would take that with me when I went to the interview.

Thank you. It was a phone invitation. I don't have anything except for her name and phone number. I might possibly try again to see if she will answer. Otherwise, I might just show up tomorrow.
