by Blondes_are_angels Jan 25, '12So I graduated in December with my Bsn. Ive already taken Kaplan and i work as a tech. I applied to a bunch of positions and went on n interview last week. It went really well. But the manager didn't ask me if I took my boards yet.. Which I haven't. I've been trying to do it ASAP but its taking forever to process in my state it takes 2 months. Always. ) She probably knows this from experience right? ... She couldn't think I already took them? It's now like I called myself RN on my resume or anything... * And if she does offer me the job could I start training before I get my license? I'm afraid I've already messed up and gunna ruin my chances when she finds out I'm still prob a month away....

That said, if you are offered the job, the nurse recruiter/HR will most likely contact you and ask if you currently have a registered nurse license. SOME places will hire graduate nurses with a contingency (ie, you must pass your boards by a certain date, can't do certain tasks, etc). Most facilities, however, will put off your hire date/orientation until you pass your boards and get your license.So I graduated in December with my Bsn.
