Posting a 2nd time but different topic...when thinking about how to pay for school, thinking about the possibility of the Navy's nursing program...where they pay a monthly stipend and sign on for your education after admitted to a program, then you promise 5 yrs after graduation (I think this only works for RNs not NPs until after you've been on the field for a few years...
Does anyone have opinions/comments on this? 5 years seems like a very long time to be committed to the Navy's institutions and schedules. Especially for someone who has had no leaning toward the military whatsoever. I do however like to travel to interesting places and sounds like there is potential for this.
