May have made a mistake

Soooo I interviewed for a position in the Emergency Department where I did my clinical.....was told to contact as soon as I passed boards. During the interview it was revealed to me that this was strictly a part time position (24 hours). I was upset at the time because I had really wanted full time so I passed boards and continued to look for positions out of state. Well 4 months later I still do not have a job......does it look bad that I never called the nurse manager when I passed boards? I am thinking about calling him and begging for the positon. Any advice?
