hello. i am an rn with 8 years of icu experience. i am ready to make a change and have an interview lined up for next week for a position in infection control at the facility i currently work for.
i'm very nervous about the interview; i haven't done anything that felt "professional" in years. i don't know what to expect of the interview or how best to prepare myself. i really want this, but am unsure of how to start.
i'm going to apply for the required apic membership. and i plan to review all of the hospital's current infection control policies and procedures. if anyone has some hints/tips/whatever that might help, i would really appreciate it.
thanks!
