LTC or PRN Hospital

i just need some advice...i have been a nurse for more than two years now..i work on a med-surg floor the whole time, i do three 12hrs shifts a week..lately we didnt have that many patients, we often get cancelled and use our PTO instead...ive been thinking about getting another job, my options are to a.) nursing home b.)agency c.) PRN in another hospital. i dont have any experience at all abt nursing homes, but im really interested in doing that.. as for agency and the hospital option - ive heard some hospitals also have low # of patients and i dont think they would hire PRN/agency nurse..and there's not much hiring for med-surg nurses, they are more on special areas..what do you guys think?
