LPN Before RN??

Updated Jul 17, 2006 at 07:08 AM by sirI

Yes I'm currently looking into becoming RN. I just haven't found the best way to get funding and help with all other cna questions. One question is should you get your lpn before becoming RN?

Hello, mushypot and welcome to allnurses.com

I moved your post from the website feedback section to its own thread in the Nursing Career Advice forum for a better response.

We hope you enjoy the site.

"Should" you?? Not necessarily. The only reasons I can imagine are not having the money for school for your RN, or not knowing for sure you want to be a nurse before investing the time and money to be a RN.

Just the thoughts of facing the NCLEX twice would be enough to deter me.
