I haven't gone through an interview in over 8 years. I was wondering if it was okay to wear scrubs? I don't have a suit that fits and don't want to spend a lot of money for just a few wearings. Any advice would be appreciated. Thinking about going through an interview scares me to death.

I hatemedsurg (LOL your screen name makes me chuckles cause I'm in the same boat)

Anyway, no scrubs are not ok for an interveiw. You need to dress nicely in a suit or even dress pants and a dress shirt in order to look like a professionl.

Good Luck

Thanks, yes, my last shift was just "Ugh!" - too many patients and not enough of me! Thank you for your response. Okay, dress shirt and pants, great. I just don't want to wear heels- that's why I went into nursing- so I could wear comfortable clothes! :)
