Hey Everyone out there, I am a senior in high school, this summer i plan to start my CNA classes in hopes to get a license at a local community college, After that i plan to go to chicago state and start my pre-reqs for admission into there nursing program in hopes to get a BSN. I was wondering
1) are a CNAs work schedule flexible, where i can manage work and school
2) will me being a CNA help me at all in my hopes me getting a BSN
3)Starting Pay For A CNA
4)how easy is it to transition from school to getting a job as a CNA
5) Is There anything I can do that will help me transition into a better paying CNA job
The reason why it sounds like i am in such a hurry to work is because i have a 3month old son, and i need a better job, that can transition me into the career that i want to work in(nursing), and that can aid me into getting 1st selection into CSU's nursing program. Any help or info or advice would be HIGHLY appreciated.
