I'm an RN and I have an RN job interview. Is it better to wear dress up clothing or would could I help my potential boss see me as a nurse by wearing nursing garb? Although it might be weird since he knows that I don't have any reason to wear scrubs right now. Ya'll keep your fingers crossed for me!

I would wear a suit or buisness casual, if you have it. Fingers crossed for you! :)

Definitely dress up! I've heard you're not supposed to wear scrubs to an interview. (: Good luck!

Its never appropriate to wear scrubs to apply for a job or interview.

Always, always, always dress up. If you get asked back for a working interview then don the scrubs, but the initial interview (and even follow up interviews) should always be dressed up. Suit, dress shoes, no perfume, minimal makeup, toned-down jewelry, no glow-in-the-dark nail polish. Good luck!!

I agree with T-bird78, you always want to dress professionally unless your interviewer has asked you to come in with scrubs for a working interview.
