    I just started as a pediatric new grad RN. I am two weeks off orientation and feeling completely overwhelmed. Does anyone have any advice on how to get through this tough period? Did all new nurses feel this way?

    There are numerous threads about this topic. Yes, new nurses do feel completely overwhelmed. It is normal.

    Just remember to ask for help when you need it. And breathe.

    And bran sheets. There's lots of examples of brain sheets on this site.

    Totally normal feeling. In about 6 months you will feel it "click" and start to feel confident in your nursing. Until then just keep on learning, asking questions and for help when needed! You'll get in the groove in no time!
