having trouble with nightshifts

Hi! I am a fairly new grad and started nights in the NICU. I really love the NICU and feel like this is where I belong, but I really enjoyed working days more than nights. I have a 5 mo old baby and am having trouble leaving her at night. Plus, I am just not really a night person. What should I do?? I am thinking about trying to go down to 2 12 hour shifts until I could get to days, if that is not possible. Do I just suck it up and deal with it or find another job?
