guidance for starting independent nursing career

I am new to this site, but I am hopeful that I can gain some direction and maybe mentoring in starting private duty nursing. I have15 years experience in an acute care hospital setting. I am tired of floor nursing. I want to return to the type of nursing I was taught and not the factory nursing that takes place in today's hospitals. I have no idea where to even begin, but with a little guidance I am willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. I look forward to your input. Thanks!
