Free agency in san diego to help find you job

Do you know a free agency who can help me find a job here in San Diego area?

I am on the process of filing my LVN exam and I need some money to pay off the application and at the same time get some healthcare experience.

I have a BLS AHA certification, BSN holder but with no existing RN license or CNA license in California. I've been trying so hard to find jobs online but of no luck. Hope you can share what agencies or facilities you know who can cater a entry level foreign BSN graduate. I don't mind working in a senior home, hospital, clinic, etc.

Thanks and hoping that someone can share their thoughts :)

I seriously doubt there is a free agency that can help especially with the current climate in CA

True, I just realized, everyone wants or makes anything for a living. I have researched some though, they assist you for career option and if there's an opening on their agency they'll prioritize you for possible position. Sad thing is, this is mostly in Business industry, not health care....Thanks for your reply though. I appreciate it...

Employment agencies (who place people into jobs) are profit-making businesses - they make money by charging for their services. They have to charge either the job-seeker or the employer. So, if an agency is "free" to the job-seeker, it means that they are charging the employer. Employers are simply not going to pay anyone if they have plenty of job applicants already - and this is certainly the case for entry-level and direct care nursing positions. If an 'agency' claims to be able to help you get a job ... for a fee, of course ... it's undoubtedly bogus.

The only 'free' employment agencies that I know of are those associated with state government because they are tax-supported. In Tx, it's called Texas Workforce Commission... I'm sure Ca has a similar resource. You may want to check that out.
