Do you have to be a nurse to go into Risk Management?

Do you have to be a nurse in order to move into risk management? Right now, I'm going for my RN but my end goal is to be in RM> I'm not sure if I"m going about this path correctly. Any advice?

My organization has a stellar Risk Management department - nationally recognized. They have a pro-active approach that really makes a difference in how we think about everything we do. All of our RM leaders have clinical backgrounds - in addition to law degrees.

If you are interested in RM, would encourage you to set your sights on law school. I believe that there are even some SONs that have a combo MSN/JD degree. YOU GO GIRL!!!
