Dialysis tech, telemetry tech or CNA II?

Nurses Career Support

Published

I'm currently a CNA 1, and I love helping patients and working with them. However, I work in a LTC Facility and its stressful, I'm so tired by the end of the shift, until I can't work overtime or do my homework and its not about being lazy...it's really really hardwork and the pay isn't worth it. But I do it, because I love taking care of the residents. I looked up some courses and want to know if anyone knew about them and the pay? I just want something to do, until I finish college, thats less stressful and better pay. Just want to move up a little. Any advice on which i should take in the title ^^^^. My goal is an RN.. Then of course NP or MD. Thanks everyone!

Hmm.. how long will it take you to become CNA II?

About one month, I'm just trying to figure out what to do. I don't want to be stuck in an nursing home. I'm burnt out. Sort of.

Hi, I'm currently in nursing school. I work in a long term facility and its overall terrible. I'm so stressed out, until it follows me home. Its just a bad environment. I want something thats less strenuous and where I'm not always tired. I fill out apps for hospitals, but to no avail. Its all about who you know. They ask for 1-2 years experience and BLS. Thats basically it. I mean yes it will, but I'm in a situation where I need the money you know.

Hi, pdiconsults- these are just some of the programs I can find. I was thinking of CNA2 because they're more in demand than the EKG tech or Dialysis tech. I was looking up the job for these but I can't find any openings.
