Dec 07 graduate-Best time to apply


Need some advice. I will graduate in Dec 07 with RN. When is the best time to start applying for nursing position? Should I start right now? Any advice would be appreciated.

I would start now because it takes a few months to get your license for that state, which ever you plan on working in, if it is other than the state you graduate from. Also If you need any help please contact me anytime.

I am a December 2006 grad and I began to apply in mid-late October and received interviews in November. You definitely need enough time for all of the paperwork to be completed; after interviewing in early November, my start date wasn't until Jan 22!
