Credit check

I have bad credit and gig a job as a GN like 6 weeks after I graduated. Only 1 place around here checks credit, I interviewed there but was not offered a job and idk if that's why or not

Normally, a credit check is involved in jobs that have anything to do with financial transactions - like working as a cashier or in a purchasing or billing area. However, some employers may be using them as an indirect indicator of some other characteristic these days. I certainly don't think that it is fair or ethical, particularly when so many people are suffering from economic woes due to circumstances beyond their control.
