considering nursing school, need advise

this is cebutops,,like to clarify my situation for those who might be interested...I just arrived in the USA, cannot work until receive permission..have a BEED but not sure i want to teach..language is a significant problem, maybe..I am filipina, 22 years old,,,maybe I would like to enter nursing here in missouri..

my question..should I volunteer at the local hospital before deciding to pursue a nursing education? How much time should i be a volunteer before making the decesion??
