CNA Question

I will be getting my CNA training in a few weeks. Where does anyone recommend working and not working and what is the pay like for a CNA. I plan on doing nights and weekends b/c my husband will be deploying soon and that will pass the time until I start the RN program in January.

Thank you
Angela

Personally I liked the nursing homes better when I was a CNA. I got close to the families of the rsdt's and it was like having grandparents everywhere. Tha's just my opinion. The pay is not nearly enough for what they do. Here in Tx. it ranges from 6.50-8.00 an hour that I know of. Good luck to you
