Career Advice

Staffing agencies pro's and cons? Anyone here work for a staffing agency? Pay and hour are good but what are the cons?

Pros...they usually pay more than facilities...cons...they will not usually hire you if you don't have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital or rehabilition setting...oh, I guess that's not really a con.

The bottom line, you need experience before working for an agency. When they send you out for jobs you will be on your own and expected to know your stuff...

Ok...if you know your stuff then go for it you will make more money and make your own schedule.
