Brainstorming some possible summer jobs...any thoughts?

My friend has just completed her 3rd year of nursing (of 4). Any ideas about where she can work in the summer? Her local health authority has very limited placements for an undergraduate program, so she does not feel very hopeful about working as a undergraduate RN.
Any thoughts?????
Much appreciated!

Not really sure if I can help, but is she a certified nurse aide? That could be something she could do in the summer. Or maybe work in a hospital as a tech?? Hope that helps a little.

Have her check with various doctor's offices or clinics in the area. I'm not sure how it works in Canada, but in Ohio, many offices/clinics will hire student nurses to perform basic skills (taking patients back, getting vitals, office work, etc.).
