B.A. in Biology- how much of nursing school can I do online?

Hi,

I have a B.A. in Biology and am interested in becoming a nurse.

I find the various possible educational paths (one could take to beome a nurse) really confusing so I need some help here.

I am interested in taking some nursing classes online. My question is how much of my nursing education can I take online? Obviously for clinical portions of the education I would have to be in a hospital or clinic setting.

Sorry for asking such a vague question but I find all these acronyms (RN to LPN, etc) confusing.
