Pending the results from this upcoming Master Sergeant Selection Board, I will most likely be dropping my retirement packet.
I was thinking of following in my father's footsteps and becoming an RN. I am also looking into the Paramedic field. What I need to find is a program that will have me certified and working within 2.5 years. I figure thats about as long as I can go on a reduced income (while in school). What are the pros and cons for RN vs Paramedic? I am only considering a 2 year degree RN, for now. I know with either, I should have no problem finding employment.
I will be using the "Post 911 G.I.Bill" and probably have to work part time while in school, maybe as a CNA?
Thoughts anyone?
