Advice in Houston!!


I am a student at San jacinto College. I am looking for a part time job right now. Well, I am full time at SJC and taking classes to apply to the Assoc. In science for RN. I started volunteering at Memorial Hospital and I have noticed tons of CNA's. Where in houston can I trian to be one????? I heard Red Cross???? I heard it was like a 6 week class...can someone help me with this. I would love to do that and then still finsh my assoc then bach. Thank YOu!!!

Does anyone know who wil hire me to do at least office work at a clinic or medical setting??? I want to gain experience in the field. I am a fst learner andvery dedicated.

i live in houston too..im a senior at dobie and will graduate this may and am thinking of going to san jac south for nursing because i live down the street..i wanted to ask you..how is the school?..anything else you know..anything will help..what made u go into nursing..i just want to make sure this is what i want to do. thankss

Texas Health School has a 3-week, HCC has 6 and 9 week, and you can find other schools in the greensheets. Be prepared to fork over about $700.

Hi, I'm going to be attending San Jac in the fall to take
my pre-req's for the rn program, but I'm nervous and so many people say that nursing school is so darn hard,however
I hear san jac has a good program , is this true ?

Hi, its me again
I currently work for harris county hospital as a unit clerk in
the O.R. they always have prn positions availiable, and its
so cool I can even go in the room when they are doing cases
and watch, if you want go to the website harris county hospital district.com
