4 year course load insight/3 year fast track?

Hi...I have just completed my upgrades and am excited to finally be applying to get into the 4 year BN nursing program next September.

For those of you who have done it, I am wondering how heavy the course load actually is. I plan to still work every second weekend (I gig in an established band) and Im wondering if I will even be able to due to the course load. I also have children with extracurricular activities, etc.....should I be moving in my Mother for 4 years or what? I would appreciate some insight from anyone who has just gone through school or is currently in school.

Also, does anyone know if Alberta is planning on bringing back a 3 year fast track program to complete the BN Program?
