2+2 Degree in Information Technology

I have seen this on a couple of websites about earning a Bachelors Degree in IT. I need to know if you already have to have an Associate degree in the program field or can your Associate Degree be in any field. I am trying to move out of nursing and into the IT field. Thanks to anyone with information on this topic.

Have you consider Nursing Informatics since your are interested in computers. This site has a nursing informatics forum.
