I'd just like to know if ICU nurses are in demand in Australia? Thanks.

Definition ICU nurse in Australia: A nurse that has much experience. 2-3 years and preferably. Post grad certificate or diploma in intensive/critical care nursing. Then you would have a good chance at gaining a full time job. Just working in ICU for 2-3 months most likely would not give an applicant a chance against other applicants as it would be easier to take a local on and give them that much experience than to pay and explain that they could not find a local for the job to immigration under the new regulations...there has been too much sponsorship when locals have not been sought first in the past, giving rise to the new regulations.
