    Hi
    Soldiernurse,
I can only imagine how life as a
soldier would bring you to your knees (in prayer) and face to face with the Lord.
Thank God for you and all those who serve!

    Gold_SJ,
I agree with you only some are called to evangelism. When we are in our caregiver roles as nurses, it is always best to simply allow the Spirit of God to speak the truth of the Gospel. He can do this through our prayers and actions. No proselytism needed.

One of the best quotes ever is..."Preach the gospel, and if necessary, use words." (St. Francis ?)

Do you mind if I ask what direction you feel the Lord is taking you if it is not nursing?
    Just curious.

    Blessings,
    Suzie

Thanks for the warm welcome VivaLasViejas.
I am happy to know that there are other nurses out there who are not afraid of proclaiming their faith when appropriate.
Christian nurses are of great value in God's army. That is a tremendous honor and responsibility for us.
    Blessings to you and yours,
    Suzie F.

    Hi Suzie,
Regardless of the fact if I am a Christian or not, I think that this is not the most appropriate forum to extend your personal belief. I just wish that people would not be so fanatic about their faith that they lose all sense of appropriateness and push their agenda for proselytizing in a nursing forum.

    Hi Suzie

I am a nursing student and I think that its amazing that you are such a strong Christian who loves the Lord and who desires to spread the love of Christ to others through your work. I know that it might be hard because you might experience some resistance from those who do not belive in the Lord, but I think its important to, as Christians, not get discouraged when doing the Lord's work. Many times, I am not pushing my faith on others, but simply praying for them when they request and being kind in the way Jesus would require. Thanks for starting this blog to reach out to other Christian Nurses

Perhaps this is a good thread for you to avoid then...

See someone is always trying to come in & be negative & whatnot Suzie started this thread under the "Spirituality & Nursing" tab & while that doesn't mean only Christianity she specifically said she wanted to connect with other Christian nurses no hidden agenda && as Christians we are supposed to be "frantic" about our faith
My God is an awesome God and any chance I get to share what he's done for me or what I've seen him do for others I'm gonna do it u should def. chill & YOU are in the wrong tab!!!

I'm not tryin to throw shade BUT if u clearly see the title says "trying to connect with other Christians" or something to that nature & u are against that why click on it? To be mean? To make it seem like ur sooo much better because ur belief is different? If u don't believe there should be a part of the forum where the religious beliefs of nurses can connect u should take that up with admin. But for now Suzie was just tryin to be nice and connect with other nurses which is what this forum is supposed to be about

If I sound rude I apologize

    Hi Suzie.

Nice to meet you (and all of the other nurses here). I have been a Christian since I was 15 years old (now 40 years old).
Glad to here that you are a blessing to other nurses, coworkers, and patients.

actually, you clicked the "nursing and spirituality forum", lol. and i don't think she is trying to convert anybody--she is looking to speak "with fellow christian nurses" to share with... nothing here about preaching to people who aren't already christian. THAT would be against the TOS, i believe!

probably the confusion is related to the fact that this thread also shows up on the most liked nursing topics of the day, and people don't know much about the existence of this forum to begin with...? seems like that is what happened.

    anywho, welcome to allnurses, Suzie!!
