Ladies, why is it ok in anyone's mind to wear colored underwear, bikini underwear, or underwear with writing all over them under your WHITE UNIFORMS!?? Why is that ok I ask over and over...no one thinks that that is a bit unprofessional? Really? if we aren't professional in every way then we aren't professional nurses at all..ladies take pride in yourself wear the proper underwear under your white uniforms..

Thankfully at our school, nursing students wear only white tops with dark green bottoms, and we are required to wear an undershirt. Our nursing deans are quite young, maybe they're young enough to know 80% women shouldn't wear white pants ;P We're a healthcare campus though, and I feel so bad for phlebotomy and dental hygiene because they do have to wear white bottoms! PHLEBOTOMY!!!! Totally sucks to be them I think.

We have to wear white tops, navy bottoms. I can wear whatever color undies I want. But, I have to wear an undershirt now, whether it be a tank or long sleeved because I do not want anyone to see my bra. I wear a nude color, but still, no way. Needless to say, I'm burning up most days having to wear two shirts.

I don't understand -- why shouldn't anyone see your bra through your white top?
