Senate Passes Fetal Protection Bill Late Last Night

  1. [font=arial, helvetica]the bill passed the senate on a vote of 61 to 38. the house passed its version of the measure in february. president bush is expected to sign the bill, which would be the first federal law to recognize a fetus at any stage of development, from conception forward, as an independent victim of a crime with legal rights distinct from the woman who has been harmed by a violent criminal act. much debate has sparked from this piece of legislation and abortion is expected to be a high priority topic in the upcoming presidential election.

It won't do any good to write the president if you don't agree with his views on the subject........the White House minions simply delete e-mails that they deem negative or that take exception to his policies. GRRRRRRRRRRRR.
