ANA Honors 13 Nurses for Exemplary Contributions to Profession, Patient Care

Through its National Honorary Awards Program, ANA honors prominent nurses and friends of nursing every other year in conjunction with the association's biennial convention. This year, ANA presented honorary awards to 13 registered nurses for their exceptional work in several key areas, including direct patient care, nursing practice and human rights. They join the ranks of just over 200 nurses, friends of nursing and constituent member associations who have already earned this national distinction.
