  1. Medicare patients who tell of poor doctor care win right to learn of findings

    A federal judge has ruled that Medicare officials must disclose their findings when they have investigated a consumer's complaint that a doctor or hospital provided poor care or committed a medical error. The ruling overturns a two-decades-old rule that prevented Medicare beneficiaries from obtaining data on doctors who made mistakes with their care.
