Homeopathy practice?

You got to look up the laws for each state.

Politically and legally I do not know either. Recently, I had the good fortune to meet someone in a field I am interested in incorporating into my business of massage another in foot care. I have found that both of these, in the state of Colorado, are not regulated as far as any care I would be performing under my nursing license.

Not to oversimplify, but don't worry about reinventing the wheel with your many areas of expertise. I know the extra certifications do come in handy but I also know you have many honed talents. Talk to some successful people doing it now; go to the healthfood store. I have found the people who deal with these matters and specailties to be a wealth of information. We all need that networking for our soul and encouragement. Is there a local chapter of some healing group you could meet with?

Oh yes, and perhaps to check online with the state too see what chapters of licensure they have. I have found netowrking with people to be more fun (wish you lived here, I am sure we could netowrk and support one another better).

Every state is different some recognize Homeopathy as a legitimate disapline and allow licensure with usually a doctorate degree.

A nurse's BON usually does not cover homeopathy as this does not fall under the heading of nursing. On the other hand there are RNs who also have a doctorate in Homeopathy and practic both. One RN I read about is a Doctor or Homeopathy and licensed as such in her state by the state medical board and is a NP registered with the BON.

Don't confuse various practices with nursing. Just because something falls under the heading of health care does not mean it falls under the heading of nursing.

By the same token there is nothing stopping a nurse from doing other types of health care provided she does not do it as a nurse.

A nurse with a medical degree cannot practic medicine under her nursing license but can practic it under her medical license.
Homeopathy is not licensed in every state.

Oh on second thought I think the NP was a Naturopath not a homeopath. They are simular though.

FYI, a Naturopath is ND--Naturopathic Doctor. NP is Nurse Practitioner.
