If they are here legally this is wonderful. If they are here illegally THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW!!!! They should not be rewarded for breaking our laws. The employers should not be rewarded for hiring them PERIOD. They should NOT have access to FREE or LOW COST government sponsored services or goods including and healthcare. The people who are here legally should have access and that access should be easier to gain than it is now. Immigrants who are here legally, I have absolutely NO PROBLEM with them. It's those who are here illegally that I have a problem with as they are breaking the law and getting AWAY WITH IT.

it is criminal to sneak into our country illegally and expect to be entitled to the same priviledges that we enjoy because of the millions of americans's who died to preserve our freedom.Last edit by DutchgirlRN on Jun 20, '07

Really, really miss her.It would be much cheaper and more effective to actively hold the employers responsible for following the law. Molly Ivins has some great columns posted over at alternet.org about immigration and reform.
