Dailey Bills Referred to Committee, Hearings Scheduled

The three bills introduced by Representative Mary Anne Dailey (R-146): HB 1845 addresses delegation of tasks to UAPs; HB 1846 provides whistleblower protection for health care professionals; HB 1847 would amend a law directing the HC4 to collect and

disseminate quality indicators, have been referred to the Health and Human Services Committee. This committee is chaired by Rep. Dennis O'Brien (R-169).

A hearing was held on July 27 at Montgomery Co. Comm. College. PSNA President, Margarete Lieb Zalon gave testimony on behalf of the association. Read the testimony...

Two additional hearings are scheduled. Nurses are encouraged to attend the hearings to learn more about this legislation, other proposed nursing legislation, and to support the profession.

I stay up on your posting so well karen but somehow I did not see this one until to late. I could have easily have attended that meeting at Pitt.

Gee Oramar, was hoping you could go. I also missed MONt Co due to work. I need to look into October date, only 2 hr ride to Harrisburg.
