Synovitis Diagnosis

  1. 0 Recently was diagnosed with synovitis in my right hand. After 3 months and a MRI I might add. I received a steroid shot and had immediate relief. Less than a month later it is swollen again but not as painful. Swollen area is larger this time and another finger is swollen and the knuckle appears to be turned inward.
Not really sure where to go from here. I hate to ask for time off but I have limited strength and grip. Last month when I had my first flair up I worked regardless of the fact I could barely use my hand at that time.
I will see a Rheumatoid doctor in July. I feel like I can not make any decisions right now because I may really need my insurance. Any advise would be appreciated.
