by curiousrdh May 24, '11Does anyone know what Option 1 on the Quest Diagnostics chain of custody form tests for. Third party administrator is First Lab for the NC BON. Just curious if it includes the infamous "etg" test.
There aren't any numbers beside the options on the Quest Diagnostics COC forms like there are on the Lab Corp COC forms, which is the testing compay the NC BON used until this past January when they switched to Quest. I know that Option 1 on the Lab Corp COC didn't include "etg"... but not sure about Quest since there aren't any test codes. Kinda figure they'd be testing for the same thing, but you never know...

- May 25, '11 by jackstemQuote from lifeistweetWhen you think about it, it's not really fishy. If they're doing random drug screens, the testing is going to be "random" as well. If the person knew what was being tested for, they'd be able to do their best to avoid using that substance in order to keep using something NOT being tested in an effort to go undetected. Just because you or I might not be thinking that way, there are many, many, many people who ARE. It's called "addictive thinking" (which is the title of a good book by Abraham Twerski).Fortes Lab will not disclose to you what you are being tested for. Seems a little bit fishy. Will that keep you sober, by not knowing?

- Jun 18, '12 by Fred4If option 1 is the med prof panel of 12 drugs with etoh ,then option 2 prob does have etg because option 2 is double the price. What does option 1 cost you? Option 2?

Not sure if "urine alcohol" = etg or not....
