How truly frightening to think that critically ill people have been left in harm's way when plans and arrangements have been in place for days already. My prayers are with the patients and their caregivers as this thing plays out.

And kudos to the Canadian Armed Forces for offering our limited resources to help out a neighbour in need. Canada rocks!

To all of those that will be effected by Gustav I wish you the best. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Having been part of the CA-2 DMAT team at the Superdome I remember only all to well. So hang tough and stay patient. And above all remember that everyone is a little STRESSED so have some compassion. Hope you all get to come back to your homes safe and sound! God Bless!.
