Nurses and Recovery is a forum where nurses and other health care professionals can find information, education and support. We welcome those nurses and other health care workers who are already in recovery and appreciate their strength, wisdom and experience.

The focus of this forum is health care workers and addictions.

Please feel free to discuss the following addictive behaviors: smoking, drinking, drugging, eating [disorders], overworking, shopping, exercising, and gambling. Posting about such topics as sexual addiction and self-injurious behaviors (cutting, burning, piercing, etc.) are not permitted and fall outside of the scope of this forum. Also not allowed are posts seeking medical/legal advice or questions relating to criminal history (current or past) and the effects on licensure. Members must contact their individual State Board of Nursing for that information. Thank you!
