I can't believe it!!

I was drawing near the end of a five year probation. I am currently in the FNP program at Saint Louis University. I will graduate this December (woo hoo!!) and will hopefully be able to sit for the boards by February.

I was very worried I would not be allowed to sit for the boards while I was still on probation. I had a year to go and there is no way I would pass if I had to wait that long,

So I wrote a letter to the BON explaining my situation and basically begged to have my probation lifted early. I did not have much hope this would actually happen but 2 weeks ago I got a letter from the BON stating my probation was completed!! Almost a year early! I am still in shock but I am so relieved. I can prepare to sit for the FNP boards and finally get on with my life.
