top notch er training program for rns

Hi all!

I would like to get some experience working in the ER, but I don't want to go somewhere where I will be thrown in the deep end and have to figure it out to survive. That's just not my idea of good patient care.

I have heard there are some great orientation programs out there for training RNs in to working the ER as a specialty. I want to know my stuff when I'm finished so I can function confidently and feel like I'm taking good car of people.

I am an RN with about 9 years med/surg experience. I'm willing to travel.

Thanks!
