Is there such a major ??


I'm a newly gradute and i just took my BSN ..

and i would like to pursue my higher educ. in a staff development area?!
is there such a major ???

if there is .. what is it ?? any advices ?? opinions ??

I am not aware of a college major in staff development. However, check out the ANA website to learn about becoming certified in Nursing Professional Development (the nurse version of staff development). I got my MSN in nursing education. However, some nurses who have my same job got an MSN in administration or an MBA or combination of the two.

A lot of Clinical Nurse Specialists do Staff Development as well.
