Innovative orientation program

Hello,
I'm currently creating an orientation program for a hospice. I'm new to my role, but from what I can tell - an orientation program doesn't really even exist. Have any of you worked for places that created an effective, memorable, innovative orientation program that impressed you? Any thought provoking ideas would be much appreciated.
