When will I receive my Nclex Eligibility in California

I'd like to know when will I receive my Nclex eligibility. I'm from California and I just went back to the Philippines to finish Nursing. I graduated last March 2010. I moved back here on June 2010 and applied that month as well, After 2 weeks, I got a mail from BON requesting for additional requirements from my school which includes: Class Schedule, Schedule of Clinical Rotation, Photocopy of enrollment forms, transcript of classes prior to enrolling at the nursing program and a photocopy of my passport. My school sent the documents last week of July via FedEx. I checked the tracking number at FedEx and it said that the recipient (BON) already received the documents last August 3, 2010. As of now, I still did not get any letter from BON. How long do I usually have to wait?:confused::confused:

what kind of deficiency? r u lacking hours or about the concurrency? ok. let me know, and ill let you know also. where you from san diego

well the letter just said that it doesn't meet the minimum requirements. i'm going to try to talk to my analyst on monday so I can verify things. Um,national city. How about you? yea, same here.I'll update you if I get anything.

i c. you try to ask em how many hours is your deficiency. goodluck tomorrow. i hope everything will turn out fine. im from chula vista. were basically neighbors. :) oh! one more thing, if ever ull have hard time calling them, i suggest you email them. cuz thats what i did last time. hope that helps!.

Ok,yea we are.hehe. Thank you! :) I hope you get everything fixed too. Keep me updated :)

Hi everyone! I'm trying to help a friend from PH to get her eligible to take the CA exam. It seems that several here have had their classmates get thru the process and even attended the same school, courses and same graduation time, but the poster(s) was not given the approval.

How does that happen? A few can get their go-ahead letter and others are getting denied and everyone hat got their letter was from the same pot?

Do you think that their documentation has been submitted with false information? Maybe they have paid extra money to get their paperwork to look "proper"? If so, my friend will not go to that extent of submitting false (fake) documents, as then, if the CA BON rechecks their paperwork and assume they pass and are working as an RN a year or two or more, the BON can simply revoke their licenses and end their nursing career in CA. She would hate to always look behind her shoulders, knowing that one day, HR or the manager calls you in the office and tells you pack your bag and here's your final paycheck.

As since the license was obtained illegally and under false information it all goes back to the beginning, one could also face some stiff financial fines and then try to find another job out of CA but then, unable to endorse the CA license as it was not only revoked but will no longer exist. So even working as a caregiver or in a home health or any medical setting as an RN just goes poof in the air.

Who knows later if the CA BON sees a pattern of this (applicants submitting fake documentation), they could add to the rules that even the guilty party could also spend time in a not so nice place called the jail.

Hey any updates on your applications? Im from San Diego too! Paradise hills area =)
