    Hi,
On my Visascreen Status it says, LICENSE VALIDATION FORM - RECEIVED BUT NOT REVIEWED , PASSED CP OR NCLEX - WAITING FOR PASSING TEST RESULTS, what does this mean, do I have to pay the extra $10. to California for the extra Form for the Test Results or it is already inclusive on the Validation form theyve sent?
What did you give them in the 1st place ? Was it the License Validation Form from the VSC Handbook and did you pay the $60 fee for it to CA BRN? If that's the case, you don't have to worry. They just acknowledged that they received it and currently reviewing it.

After they reviewed it, they will change it to passed NCLEX and Waived License Requirement.

Don't mind the intricitites on how they word it.

Expect them to make a conclusion w/in 2-3 weeks.

    hello,
I'm a RN and I'm struggling with my exams...

guys I need your HELP! I've came here in USA, VA two years ago and since then I'm trying to pass the CGFNS exam. As you probably know both CGFNS and NCLEX exams are required here in VA. For a year long I've tried to pass the CGFNS...and I've worked hard for that with no good results. My last score is 390 from 400... and I've already reapplied for the next exam...which is in march 2008.
The problem is that I think I choose the hardest way and I was wondering if I apply for a state like CA, for example, just to pass the NCLEX and to get my licence to practice nursing, than can I transfer my licence here in VA and skip the CGFNS exam?
I've passed the CGFNS [FONT=MinionPro-Regular]credentials review and I saw that the requirements for CES are the same with the requirements for Certification Program, so with a little luck they will not ask for more papers from my country nursing school...

I need your good advice, what should I do? which state is better to apply to and can I do this, apply in another state and than return here in VA? which are the steps for that...
I hope my English is good enough to make my self understood...

    thank you for your time!

This question might be out of place...but here it goes.

Does anybody know if Immigration officers at the US Embassy access ur file for the Visa Screen. (where they can see all the documents you submitted etc) Or do they just need to see that you actually have a Visa Screen Certificate?

    Any help...thanks

you have to have the certificate in your hand if going the CP route but I believe a copy is sent with AOS application but may be the original is sent.

I would recommend the Full course as will come in handy if you decide to continue further education once in the US

I have applied online for Visa Screen with my CP Certificate and IELTS as my qualification and I did not have to submit the requirements all over again. However, my online status says: License Validation Form from Phils was received but not accepted. I surmise it is because I passed the June 2006 local board. I have passed the retake exam in June 2007 and have on hand the DOLE-issued Certification. I emailed CGFNS & they told me they would only accept documents from PRC. My question is: Does PRC provide CGFNS a list of those who passed the retake of Tests 3&5? or do I have to go to PRC and have them accomplish the Request for Validation of Registration/License, pay the fee and the courier cost all over again?

I personally would play safe and send request and pay again.

    Hello all!
I am a Canadian LPN working in Acute care here at a major regional . hospital. I have just read 33 pages here and have valued all the info. My situation is this; I wrote and passed the NCLEX-PN in may '07 and have received an active Arizona license that I applied for. I have applied for my VisaScreen and am awaiting my certificate. There has been a hitch as they did not accept my transcripts, so I am having those resent and keeping my fingers crossed. My husband and I are hoping to move to Arizona as soon as all is received. Does this sound possible?
I am also considering travel nursing, as I have talked with a recruiter, and I am wondering if I need my VisaScreen for this. I don't know of any LPN's up here that have done any of this so have pursued it all on my own thus far. I stumbled onto this site a few months back and can't impress enough how great it is and how helpful to so many.
Thanks in advance for any input here.
Cant wait for some Arizona sunshine

As far as I am aware you need to be RN for TN and vsc not LPN. Have you checked out the couple of threads in the Canadian forum on this or tried the search

From all my info I can apply as an LPN. I will do some more searching and again appreciate any and all input. Thanks so much.

Another thought, why would the CGFNS accept my application and be processing it if this was not a possibility? Why would Az. issue me a license? Am I wasting my time and money?
I am also considering taking my RN through Excelsior once in the states.
Do I just have pipe dreams? AAArg.
